China must adopt water-saving technologies and practices to handle
the impending water supply deficit in the next two decades and boost its
economy, says a report by McKinsey & Company,
The report pinpoints 55 solutions to augment water supply and
conserve water use in the municipal, industrial and agricultural sectors. Mr.
Joerss added that investing in water-saving technologies and operations will
not only curb the water crisis, but will also bring good economic
returns.
